Christy Coleman is the CEO of the American Civil War Museum.

Professor Brito M.A. '08, is a developmental psychologist who examines how early social and cultural contexts (e.g., poverty, multilingualism) shape the trajectory of neurocognitive development. MA Experimental Psychology, College of William and Mary.

Professor Owen will draw on her experiences in various leadership roles on the Committee on the Status of Women in the Economics Profession and on findings from pedagogical and institutional research. 

Dr. Krista Thompson is the Mary Jane Crowe Professor of Art History at Northwestern University. She researches and teaches the modern and contemporary art and visual culture of the Africa diaspora, with an emphasis on photography. 

Underrepresented Scholars in the Academy

Patricia Williams is the James L. Dohr Professor of Law at Columbia Law School. She is published widely in the areas of race, gender, and law, and other issues of legal theory and legal writing. 

The George Tayloe Ross Address on International Peace was established to promote peace by exploring and investigating topics of current interest that affect relations among nations, ranging from international political matters to environmental questions.

Kay Coles James has an extensive background in crafting public policy and leading in nearly every sector of America's economy and will be interviewed by Professor Christine Nemacheck.

Dr. Amy E. Earhart is Associate Professor of English and affiliated faculty of Africana Studies at Texas A&M Uni­versity. 

Izetta Autumn Mobley is a doctoral candidate in Ameri­can Studies at the University of Maryland, College Park.
