Students in 4th through 6th grades are invited to participate in a one-day Spring Break camp at Beaverdam Park in Gloucester.

Chia-Yu Wu, VIMS Physical Sciences Department; "The variation of sediment rate in the Lanyang Plain and adjacent continental shelf, Northeastern Taiwan."

Dr. Larry Sanford, Professor at the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Sciences, will discuss how bivalve biodeposits from aquaculture farms impact water quality.

Geologist Chuck Bailey '89 will talk about earthquakes, fault zones and the living earth under our feet in the spring 2013 installment of the university's Tack Faculty Lecture Series. It's free and the public is welcome.
