Drawing on Asian, Pacific Islander, and Middle Eastern heritage, Khatalampay celebrates the accomplishments and the cultural richness of the W&M community and all graduating students.
Graduating students participate in this tradition by standing together as a graduating class in the Wren Yard. Guests are welcome to attend, but will be directed to a guest viewing area behind the students. Please note there is no seating for this event.
Lavender, once a symbol of stigma, has been reclaimed as a mark of pride within the LGBTQ+ community. This celebration draws on that pride to recognize all graduating students.
