VIMS Marine Science Day

VIMS' annual open house is a free, fun-filled event for the whole family! Join us for marine science exhibits, child-friendly crafts and activities, hands-on experience with animals, lab and facility tours, and more! Event proceeds rain or shine.

Join VIMS staff at the Holly Point Market at Deltaville Maritime Museum. VIMS will highlight the importance of our research on a variety of topics. The market will feature fresh produce, baked goods, vendors, children's activities, and boat cruises!

CBNERR Discovery Lab - Watermen

VIMS - Catlett-Burruss Research and Education Lab
This lab will have different waterman gear on display and activities all about the water. CBNERR educator and local waterman, Matthew Thayer, will talk about what watermen do and how to become one. The fun-filled evening will even include a tasty treat!
