In collaboration with the Department of English, the 50th Commemoration Planning Committee is honored to present a Brown Bag talk by the Sara and Jess Cloud Endowed Lecturer Dr. Trudier Harris titled, "PUBLIC PHYSICAL PLACES, MENTAL SPACES:
The Portability of Homeplaces."

Dr. Harris is a University Distinguished Research Professor at the University of Alabama, formerly the J. Carlyle Sitterson Distinguished Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and the first African American faculty to be tenured at William & Mary.
