Write, shoot, and edit a short film in just 24 hours! Open to W&M students and alumni alike, the contest kickoff ceremony is Friday, February 12th at 5:30pm. Student teams are expected to show up in person at the Ford Classroom in Swem Library, whereas alumni teams can tune in via live Google Hangout. At the kickoff ceremony, each team will be given a prop and line of dialogue that must be used in their film, as well as a genre for their film. Filmmaking equipment can be checked out from the Reeder Media Center right before the competition at around 5:30 pm. We have high quality camcorders, DSLRS, shotgun microphones, audio interfaces, lights, etc.

All films will be shown on the big screen the Kimball Theatre on Friday night of the Global Film Festival. Specifically, films will be shown on February 19th at 11pm. It's your chance to show your filmmaking chops on the big screen. Prizes TBA.
