If you have a love of literature and language, a keen respect for the written word, and an inquiring mind--and you'd like to find a job after graduation that rewards these qualities--then read on!

Stephanie Chan, assistant director of the Columbia Publishing Course (formerly the Radcliffe Publishing Course), will be hosting an on-campus information session about the multitude of career options in book, magazine, and digital publishing. Hear about what you can do NOW to prepare for the publishing job market.

Attendees will also learn more about the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism's Columbia Publishing Course, an intensive introduction to all aspects of publishing, from evaluations of manuscripts to the sales and marketing of finished products. At CPC students learn directly from leaders in the industry--writers, editors, publishers, design directors, illustrators, advertising experts, and publicists. Geared to recent college graduates and culminating in a job fair, the course also includes extensive preparation for the job market. Recent graduates have landed at Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, Elle, Scholastic, GQ, New York magazine, Vice, and Time Inc. British and EU citizens are also encouraged to apply to CPC's new sister program at Exeter College, Oxford, to take place in September 2016.
