[PAST EVENT] Employment 1st Family Listening Session - Tidewater/Hampton Roads

Join the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Services and the Center for Family Involvement for a conversation with families about employment for people with disabilities. We want to hear your views on employment and the barriers to your family member finding and keeping a job. Each 2 hour session will include a brief presentation for families on employment 1st policies and the partners involved in supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities receive employment supports. The presentation will be followed by small and large group discussion of barriers to employment and suggestions for improving the employment system.
