Rita Chin, The Crisis of Multiculturalism in Europe

The 15th Annual Student-Faculty Research Conference in European Studies will open on Friday,  March 27th, with a keynote lecture by Prof. Chin on "The Crisis of Multiculturalism in Europe: Historical Lessons for the Present Moment" (5-6pm, in Tucker 127A). Prof. Chin is Professor of History at the University of Michigan. She is an expert in immigration and human mobility; race and ethnicity, and colonialism and post-colonialism. The next morning, on Saturday, March 28th, 9:00 - 12:30 pm, two student panels will present research papers on migration in modern and contemporary Europe. This event is free and open to the public.
