Take Back the Net 2nd Annual Evening of Healing and Support for Survivors.

Join William & Mary's Haven, Office of Health Promotion, and Health Outreach Peer Educators (HOPE) as we support the Virginia Campus Task Force's Second Annual Take Back the Net. College students, sexual assault response coordinators, prevention specialists, policy makers, counselors, and allies from across the Commonwealth will come together for this transformative evening which will include closed captioning and ASL interpretation (thanks to the W&M Parent and Family Fund).

This virtual evening of support for collegiate survivors of sexual assault features live stories of hope and healing in a format that helped last year's participants feel more  protected than traditional Take Back the Night events elsewhere. One student wrote,  “I have never felt a safer or more comfortable space to share my healing journey. This amount of protection and coziness would have been impossible on my campus.”

To register to attend, please go to www.tinyurl.com/tbtn2021

W&M students and alumnix (of any Virginia college or university, not just W&M)) interested in sharing your story of healing can visit www.tinyurl.com/tbtn2021speakers. A team of confidential, professional advocates (made up of staff at VCU, VSU, and UMW) will read your brief responses and notify you, if they have selected you to share your path.
