This year our annual open house goes virtual! We invite everyone to experience how much fun physics experiments can be from the comfort of their home.
This year's topic is "The Art of Physics", and we are putting together a program in which Art and Science merge together!
You will be able to browse our art gallery where each masterpiece is linked with a physics experiment, see an engaging demo show, knock to the virtual doors of Small hall and more! Everyone is invited! We have activities for visitors of all ages and interests, and we are happy to share them with the world!
We will hold two "live" Zoom events:
On October 17 at 2-4pm Prof. Marc Sher will deliver a brief public lecture, inspired by 2020 Nobel prize "Nobel Prize: the prediction and discovery of the black holes". After that we will have a reception where physics alumni and friends will be able to to interact with physics faculty and students.
On October 24 at 2-3pm physics students will hold a public art lesson "How to draw a Schrodinger cat".
