The Washington Center team is excited to welcome all W&M staff and faculty to the 2025 Staff & Faculty Trip! During your day in D.C., you will be able to hear from current Study in D.C. students, meet one-on-one with Washington Center team members, tour the city, and see popular Washington, D.C. sites! Sign up for specific activities such as a VIP Tour of the National Museum of African American History or a bus tour of Washington D.C.!


Schedule:

7:00 am: Bus departs the Sadler Center for the Washington Center

9:30 am: Bus arrives at the Washington Center

10:00 am – 11:00 am: Student Panel

11:30 am – 1:30 pm: Bus Tour of D.C. OR VIP Tour of Museum of African American History & Culture (Limit 15)

2:00pm-5:30pm: 30-minute one-on-ones with a Washington Center team member [Optional]

2:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Visit to Library of Congress

4:30 pm – 5:30 pm: Housing Tours

5:30 pm – 6:30 pm: Reception with Students

6:30 pm: Bus Departs Washington Center for Sadler Center

9:00 pm: Bus Arrives at Sadler Center


Due to the rising costs, the cost to attend is $50 to offset the bus to and from Washington D.C. If finances are a concern, please contact the Washington Center Events Team. If your W&M department would like to pay for your registration using something other than an SPCC card, please ask the person in charge of financial transactions reach out to Caty Judkins to coordinate payment.
