[PAST EVENT] Russian Music Ensemble Concert

Come join the Russian Music Ensemble for an evening of folk music from Russia and other eastern European countries! This is the ensemble's first concert in Ewell Recital Hall, and will include traditional tunes from a variety of countries, including Russia, Ukraine, Greece, and Macedonia. Many of these will be played using traditional folk instruments such as the balalaika and domra. The ensemble will perform its full repertoire and will be joined by special guest musicians from the Washington Balalaika Society. Admission to the concert is free, but there is a $1 suggested donation. The Russian Music Ensemble is supported in part by the Russian and Post-Soviet Studies Program and the Department of Music at William & Mary.
