[PAST EVENT] From Fights to Rights: The Long Road to a More Perfect Union Exhibits

Visit Swem Library for exhibits from the "From Fights To Rights" project commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Civil War and the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Movement. Exhibits rotate at least twice each year.
The "From Fights to Rights" project also includes public programs, the digitization of theses and dissertations by William & Mary alumni on Civil War and Civil Rights topics and their inclusion in the W&M Digital Archive, a volunteer effort to transcribe manuscripts from the Civil War era online, and Swem Library's Special Collections Research Center also continues to develop collections in these subject areas, including the long period of integration at the College of William & Mary.
