What is research data? How will your work generate data? Why does it need to be managed? This session will introduce graduate students to best practices and resources for collecting and preserving the fruits of their research. We will define data broadly and discuss how data management is applicable and necessary in STEM, Social Sciences and Humanities. We will also cover common pitfalls and the implications of data management for your future career. Presented by Lauren Goode, Science Librarian.
