Trigger warning: to promote free inquiry and to help us grow comfortable in our own discomfort, there are no additional trigger warnings.

Through this open and engaging workshop, affirm your own, ever-changing values about sex, refresh your knowledge of HIV, and celebrate an End to World AIDS Day, as you join your friends for a crucial conversation that explores what role(s) sex has, does, or will play in your life.

A note to groups, clubs, and teams: if your group wishes to attend, there will be a pizza party awarded to the organization with the highest per capita attendance. Wear your group's t-shirts or jerseys and let Eric know your final head count and your total membership numbers to be eligible. There will be gifts for individuals and their partners as well.

About our host: Eric Marlowe Garrison, M.A.Ed. '94, M.Sc. (London), is a Diplomate of the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, the world's oldest school of public health, an AASECT-qualified sex counselor, and a court-recognized forensic sexologist. Eric was one of the youngest sex and healthful relationship educators with the Masters & Johnson Institute right up until its closing. He has lectured on HIV/AIDS, gender violence, and sexual pleasure at many of the world's leading medical institutions, including the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and the Medical Sciences Division of Oxford University. He currently serves in various roles across W&M, the Commonwealth, and the U.S.: as Assistant Director of Health Promotion here, Chair of the Virginia Campus Task Force to Prevent Sexual Assault, and national advisory board member on the Red Flag Campaign.
