The festival aims to showcase the beauty and brilliance of the Black American experience while fostering a communal space of truth, healing, and restoration. The festival follows the concept of "Sankofa", which means to look to the past in order to move toward a brighter future. The festival moves the institution toward the creation of a more inclusive environment in the heart of the Williamsburg community. There will be live music, performances, cuisine, and Black-owned vendors in attendance! We look forward to your support and seeing you there!

The Reveley Garden is located between Jefferson and Ewell Halls adjacent to the Legacy Tribute Garden where the Sankofa sculpture lives.

This event is co-sponsored by the Muscarelle Museum, Student Assembly, Center for Student Diversity with support from the Office of Undergraduate Admission for Autumn Blast Weekend.
