Part 1: Charting Your Course in Marine Science at VIMS

The field of marine science encompasses many disciplines – from marine biology, fisheries, oceanography, and estuarine and coastal studies, to policy and outreach – and a graduate degree in marine science from the William & Mary School of Marine Science at VIMS can open the door to diverse career opportunities. The School of Marine Science at VIMS provides students with an unparalleled education, the opportunity to perform ground breaking research, and training that prepares them to serve as leaders in their field. During this session, VIMS faculty, staff, and students will help you understand why VIMS is the place for you – from the courses and access to faculty, facilities, technology, and professional development opportunities, to student life and post-grad success. Join us as we explore all that VIMS has to offer. Make sure to bring your questions for our panelists and graduate admissions staff.

This program is designed for individuals interested in pursuing a graduate degree in marine science. Registration is required.

Please plan to join us for the other two sessions in this series on November 13 and November 18. You must register for each session separately. Find additional events here.
