On Tuesday, March 17, 2015, from 6:00 pm-8:30 pm, William & Mary's Black Law Students Association, in collaboration with Student Assembly, the Center for Student Diversity, the Lemon Project, and the Office of Diversity and Equal Opportunity, will host its annual town hall symposium on race, law, and current events. Topics discussed will include Ferguson, police brutality, structural racism, hip hop and the law, racialized economic inequalities, the erosion of voting rights protections, politics in the age of Obama, affirmative action, reparations, recent Supreme Court decisions, the school-to-prison pipeline, social justice activism, and much more. There will also be a time allotted for a panelist-audience Q&A session.
