Do you love our Discovery Lab program but wish they were during the day? This month we are offering a daytime Discovery Lab program specifically for homeschool students and their families! Step into the shoes of a herpetologist with fun self-guided activities, games, and demonstrations. This Discovery Lab is all about turtles that live in salt and brackish water. You'll follow turtle life cycles from shore to sea. One of our educators will teach you about Diamondback Terrapins and their conservation. 

Discovery Labs are free, family-friendly programs provided each month by CBNERR-VA at VIMS. Designed with elementary-aged youth and their parents in mind, each lab focuses on a different topic related to the Chesapeake Bay and our local environment and includes exhibits, demonstrations, and hands-on activities.

Reservations to this event are required due to limited space.
