Event Description:
Curious about how artificial intelligence actually works? Wondering why AI sometimes gets things wrong—or if it’s inherently biased? Join us for a full-day interactive workshop designed for anyone eager to understand the mechanics behind AI.
Led by Professor Rachel Chung, this workshop demystifies the technology behind today’s most talked-about tools. No prior coding or advanced math is required. You'll walk away with a working knowledge of key AI concepts and the confidence to critically evaluate generative AI applications in real-world scenarios.
This hands-on workshop will equip you with the skills to compute Deep Learning models in a diagram by hand, explain how such models work mathematically,
analyze their capabilities and limitations, and critically evaluate AI products.
You'll complete worksheets to compute both analytical and generative AI models by hand, and a project to create an interactive website or train an AI agent using generative AI.
No prior coding experience or AI knowledge is required.
