Take an in-depth tour of the California African American Freedom Trail with John William Templeton, business journalist, founder of National Black Business Month, speaker, historian and demographer, sponsored by the Hulon Willis Association. Learn about the Black queen who gave California its name, San Francisco’s Underground Railroad operatives, the birth of jazz, the catalyst for the labor movement, the influence of poet Maya Angelou and more.
