VIMS After Hours: Virginia Game Fish Tagging Program

Since 1995, volunteers from the Virginia Game Fish Tagging Program have tagged and released more than 400,000 fishes! Hear the stories about this amazing program, what we've learned from the fishes we've recaptured, and how to improve your own fishing!

      2024 Blue Crab Bowl

      VIMS and ODU reunite to host the 2024 Blue Crab Bowl, the regional competition of the National Ocean Sciences Bowl, in which high school students compete to answer questions from scientific and technical ocean science disciplines.
