The Center for African Development and the Reves Center for International Studies present Dr. Angela Owusu-Ansah, Provost at Ashesi University, speaking on "The Impact of University Education on Development in Ghana."

Ashesi University is a private liberal arts college in Accra, Ghana. Founded in 2002, it aims to educate ethical, entrepreneurial leaders in Africa. The president and founder of Ashesi University was awarded the World Innovation Summit in Education Prize in 2017 for Ashesi?s impact on higher education in Africa.

Dr. Owusu-Ansah?s talk will provide insights into Ashesi University?s innovative educational model as well as explain how university education has evolved in Ghana, its contribution to economic development and current challenges.
