[PAST EVENT] Why Citizen Lawyers Vote

October 26, 2020 - October 30, 2020
12am - 12pm
Location
Virtual

Are you concerned about the future of our healthcare system? Racial justice? Climate change? Supreme Court reform? Division in civil society? What does being a citizen lawyer mean to you this election year?

The Public Discourse Initiative wants to know what's driving you to the ballot box this November and what being a citizen lawyer means to you at this moment in history. Students may submit a short video (~35 seconds) talking about an issue of importance to them as voters and what citizen-lawyer advocacy looks like in 2020 to [[e|publicdiscourse]].

Videos should be recorded in a vertical format using an IPhone/Android (if possible). The deadline for submissions is 10/30 at 12:00 P.M. We'll be releasing the video "Why Citizen Lawyers Vote" on Election Day to promote civic engagement at William & Mary Law School. We look forward to hearing your thoughts!
