[PAST EVENT] W&M National Trial Team Selection Tournament (Tryouts)
The William & Mary National Trial Team is holding our selection tournament (tryouts) from November 1st to November 11th. Tryouts will take place in-person at the law school. The selection tournament is 2 weeks long: Week 1 will take place from November 1st to November 4th from 5:00pm-9:00pm; Week 2 will take place from November 8th to November 11th from 5:00pm-9:00pm.
The tournament consists of opening and closing statements for each side of the case. Each competitor will compete twice during each week (once as Prosecution and once as Defense). Each round is approximately 1 hour in length. Cuts will be made after Week 1, and new members will be selected at the end of Week 2.
