The Neuroscience Program of  William & Mary
is pleased to announce its Spring Symposium to be held Tuesday, April 11, 2017, from 3:30 ? 5:00 PM, in Tidewater A of the Sadler Center.  

Students Sabrina Bracero (Dr. Margaret Saha), Jessica Crowley (Dr. Willie Buchser), Chen Dong (Dr. Margaret Saha), Jasmine Ragoowansi (Dr. Willie Buchser), and Hailey Ramsey (Dr. Michael Deschenes) will present their research from 3:30-4:00 PM.  

Our Keynote Speaker, Fuseo Kato, Ph.D., M.D., will speak from 4:00-5:00 PM.  Dr. Kato is the Chair of Neuroscience and Director of the Center for Pain at Jikei University, Tokyo, Japan. The title of his talk is, "Synaptic plasticity in the nociceptive amygdala - What is the biological role of emotion in pain?"
