Come join the adventure!

Do you like boats? Do you like airplanes? Do you like helping people? How about helping the environment?

If you are looking for an experience where you can volunteer to make a meaningful impact in your community and learn valuable skills, then come hear about what it would be like to join a group of students who are training to be leaders in service.

As a Unit of Auxiliary University Programs, we save lives, protect the marine environment, and promote homeland security as future civilians or active duty Guardsmen. We exist to serve, and we serve with pride.

Here's a list of all the things you can do within our organization

  • Ride along on boat patrols on the York River
  • Soar with pilots on air patrol
  • Telecommunications at a watch station
  • Vessel Examination
  • International Affairs (translating)
  • Marine Protection
  • Local volunteering opportunities with the National Park Service
  • Engage with our community on boating safety
