The Global Innovation Challenge is a hack-a-thon style international development case competition aimed at encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration to create innovative solutions to current global issues. Competing for a cash prize and possible research opportunities, teams will generate solutions within one of three streams that will act as a framework for the case: technology, social entrepreneurship, and governance. Teams, consisting of 3-5 students, will have the opportunity throughout the competition to engage with mentors from the international and sustainable development community.
