The Advanced Placement Summer Institute is designed to help new, beginning, and future AP teachers plan and implement more effective AP programs in their schools. The Institute workshops share with teachers the curriculum content and teaching methods of AP courses and explore the content, structure, and grading of the AP exams. In addition, the workshops afford teachers the opportunity to interact with colleagues and to discuss issues and concerns surrounding the AP courses they will teach. The intended audience for all workshops is teachers who have never taught AP courses or who have 1-3 years of AP teaching experience.

You will receive a certificate indicating the number of hours of instruction you have participated in. Participants should contact their school district prior to the Institute to arrange Continuing Education Units (CEUs). No graduate credit is available.
