[PAST EVENT] Department Field Trip: Geology of Shenandoah National Park
September 17, 2011 - September 18, 2011
8am - 5pm
Everyone is welcome! We will be hiking the high country, pondering the origin and history of the rocks, discussing the processes working on and shaping the landscape, camping a kilometer above sea level and enjoying good times with geology friends. There is a sign-up sheet outside McGlothlin-Street Hall, room 228 (please sign up soon as space is limited). Cost is $20 which includes meals and snacks for the weekend, transportation and a campsite.
