Join new VIMS professor Donglai Gong as he highlights his work with the most modern of oceanographic research tools - unmanned gliders. Gong will explore the technology behind these cutting-edge vehicles and use results from recent missions to the mid-Atlantic and Arctic to reveal how gliders offer an unprecedented view of ocean biology, chemistry, and physics.
