Professor G. Scott Davis, Lewis T. Booker Professor of Religion and Ethics at the University of Richmond, will speak on "Emergency Interrogation and the Question of Justice in War." Professor Davis teaches Ethics and Western Religious Thought at the University of Richmond. He is author of Religion and Justice in the War over Bosnia (New York: Routledge, 1996) and Warcraft and the Fragility of Virtue: An Essay in Aristotelian Ethics (republished with Eugene, Oregon: Wipf & Stock, 2011). The event is sponsored by the William & Mary Department of Religious Studies. It is free and open to the public.
