Join us for a lively discussion with Prof. Sandra Raggio, director of the Comision Provincial por la Memoria (La Plata, Argentina), Prof. Bruno Carpinetti (specialist in indigenous communities and environmental sciences/policies), and five volunteers/interns with the Comision. Our special guests will illuminate the discussion by drawing from the work they do with the Comision in Argentina, and from their recent fieldwork experience at the US-Mexico border.

This is a most unique opportunity for students in Latin American Studies and in Hispanic Studies who are interested in issues of migration, human rights, international relations, law, hemispheric studies, etc.
