[PAST EVENT] eLearning Workshop - "Tips for lecture presentations"

Many lectures as well as student presentations use PowerPoint, or one of its closely related cousins. In the first part of each of the workshop sessions "The Perils of PowerPoint" Professor Paul Heideman will share some tips regarding sound practices and how to avoid common issues when creating these presentations. In the second half of each session "Going Beyond Powerpoint" he will share his ideas on when and why you may need to go beyond Powerpoint to help your students understand particularly difficult concepts.
