[PAST EVENT] Advanced Placement Institute

July 30, 2012 - August 3, 2012
Location
W&M School of Education; Various Academic Buildings on Campus
The Advanced Placement Summer Institute is designed to help new, beginning, and future AP teachers plan and implement more effective AP programs in their schools. The Institute workshops share with teachers the curriculum content and teaching methods of AP courses and explore the content, structure, and grading of the AP exams. In addition, the workshops afford teachers the opportunity to interact with colleagues and to discuss issues and concerns surrounding the AP courses they will teach. The intended audience for all workshops is teachers who have never taught AP courses or who have 1-3 years of AP teaching experience.
