The Federalist Society and Institute of Bill of Rights Law are hosting a talk by Edward Whelan, co-editor of "Scalia Speaks: Reflections on Law, Faith, and Life Well Lived," a new collection of speeches by the late Justice Antonin Scalia.  Admission is free and all are welcome. Justice Scalia received an honorary LLD from the College in 1991 and the Marshall-Wythe Medallion, the Law School faculty's highest honor, in 2012.

Scalia Speaks collects for the first time [the late Justice Scalia's] best speeches covering topics as varied as the law, faith, justice, pastimes, and his heroes and friends. Selected for their clarity and insight, these deeply personal speeches have been selected by Scalia's son Christopher and his former law clerk Edward Whelan.

About Mr. Whelan (excerpted from the publisher's website)

Edward Whelan, president of the Ethics and Public Policy Center, is a former law clerk to Justice Scalia. He is a leading commentator on the Supreme Court and on issues of constitutional law. A father of four, he lives with his family in the D.C. area.

Mr. Whelan's co-editor is Christopher J. Scalia, a Class of 1998 graduate of William & Mary. Mr. Scalia, the eighth of Justice Scalia?s nine children and a former professor of English, works at a public relations firm near Washington, D.C. His book reviews and political commentary have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, the Weekly Standard, and elsewhere. He lives in Virginia with his wife and three children.
