William & Mary President Katherine Rowe began her first year with a listening and playback process. Drawing on feedback from these conversations, she is engaging the entire William & Mary community in a strategic planning process to establish goals for the coming 5 to 10 years.

The W&M Alumni Association and the W&M Strategic Planning Steering Committee invite you to participate in the university’s ongoing strategic planning process. Available to all alumni, this webinar will review vision, mission and values statements, provide an update on the recent environmental scan, and offer a forum for questions such as the ones below:

  • What has the response been to the new vision, mission and values statements?
  • What are the current and future issues affecting higher education and what are the opportunities and challenges facing William & Mary?
  • How will W&M prioritize the most significant opportunities to pursue?
  • How can we leverage the success of the philanthropy and engagement efforts achieved during the For the Bold campaign?  
  • How will this be a shift from previous strategic plans?
  • What can I do to help?
