Join W&M Women for a special tour and talk at the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute with Dr. Michael Friedlander.

Michael Friedlander, Ph.D., is founding executive director of the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at VTC, where he provides leadership to 29 premier research teams engaged in developing new strategies for preventing, diagnosing, and treating major health challenges. Dr. Friedlander provides leadership for the The Roanoke 15,000 project that involves following patient’s brain function over the course of their lives. His laboratory focuses on the cellular plasticity processes that underlie learning in the brain in health, during development, and after traumatic brain injury.
