Pathways to Develop Your Leadership
Leaders tell us that today’s complexity, ambiguity and global competitive landscape are requiring them to constantly re-evaluate and “step up their game”. In this webinar, W&M alumna and Professional Certified Coach Wendy Preyssler ’88 will help us interpret the results of the Leadership Circle Profile assessment. Participants are encouraged to take this online self-assessment prior to this webinar, the results of which will reveal the relationship between patterns of action and internal assumptions that drive your behavior.
Consider this webinar to be more a conversation and experience about personal effectiveness, vs. a lecture on leadership.
Based on a universal model of leadership (29 dimensions that research confirms impact effective leadership and business performance), the Leadership Circle will reveal for each participant what they are doing that is supporting/enabling their strategic goals and priorities (Creative Competencies) and what might be standing in their way (Reactive Tendencies).
The Leadership Circle Profile:
- Accelerates development - Instantly reveals key opportunities for leaders’ development without requiring reading through reams of documentation. Our goal is for each participant to identify 2-3 mindset shifts that will change the way they “show up” and manage their operations
- Is time efficient - enables a leader to start with a targeted breakthrough focus, rather than spending months trying to reach one
- Is more than just an assessment -- The rich theoretical underpinnings of the profile provide a pathway to transformation. No other tool offers this
In order to take the self-assessment, please visit: https://self-assessment.theleadershipcircle.com/en-US/registration After entering your name, email, phone and password, you will be asked: “Did a TLC consultant refer you to our book Mastering Leadership?” Select YES. Enter Wendy@CoachingByWendy.com as the consultant’s email address.
Once you have completed the assessment, you will receive the results, and our facilitator, Wendy Preyssler, will receive a copy.
Wendy will be evaluating the assessments and will select several that represent different leadership strengths and challenges to debrief during the webinar. All assessments reviewed on the webinar will be done confidentially, without participants knowing whose is being debriefed. However, you will be notified in advance if yours is chosen to debrief so you can pay close attention!
This webinar is part of the William & Mary Alumni Association’s Professionals Week (February 24-28). All week long, we are celebrating our Tribe network and professional affinities. No matter what stage of your career you are in, join us for events online and in person and let us know your professional achievements and goals by posting on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter using the hashtag #OneTribeOneNetwork.
