Alumni Engagement Events

Celebrate the holiday season with fellow William & Mary Chicago-area alumni, parents, family and friends at our Yule Log celebration at Lincoln Park Zoo's ZooLights!

At 4 p.m., we will meet at the northwest corner of West Dickens Avenue and North Stockton Drive (the grassy area just south of the playground and about a block south of the Lincoln Park Zoo's main entrance at Webster Avenue and North Stockton Drive) for a brief gathering for hot chocolate and cookies. At 4:30 p.m., we will hear a reading of the Tradition of the Yule Log and at 5 p.m. we will begin our tour of ZooLights.

This is an entirely outdoor event, so guests should dress warmly and bring masks if they plan to tour indoor exhibits or use the restrooms. All attendees interested in touring the Enchanted Forest and Light Maze will need to purchase tickets for those attractions separately. Those who aren't interested in touring the ZooLights exhibit can still come for refreshments and the ceremony.

Tickets: Free for first 50 registrants (this includes infants and children); all other registrants will need to purchase their own ZooLights tickets through the Zoo ($5) .
