Prior to joining Walbro, Matt has held various International Operational and Functional positions of increasing responsibility and was most recently President, Raytheon International, Inc. Before joining Raytheon, he was Vice President and General Manager, Business Operations, Land and Armaments, U.S. Combat Systems for BAE Systems. Matt also spent a few years living overseas as the Assistant General Manager of FNSS Defense Systems, a joint venture of BAE Systems and Nurol, in Ankara, Turkey.Matt has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA. He also attended the Financial Education Program for Senior Executives at the Harvard Business School and the Strategic Leadership Program at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton Business School/Oxford University.
Matt is married with 3 children and his interests include his family, the outdoors, reading, automobiles, hunting and fishing.
