The W&M Professional Development Academy returns for the second year January 11-13, 2022.

Registration is now open, and closes, Thursday, November 18, 2021.

The Academy is a free three-day virtual conference open to all current undergraduate students, graduate students, and recent alumni. The Academy's goal is to furnish students with the tools needed to maximize professional career development preparation.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn from and engage with W&M faculty, staff, alumni, and industry professionals on professional development topics, including, but not limited to: personal branding, networking etiquette, interviewing techniques, expectations of new employees, resilience in a professional field, and working in a virtual landscape. Each day will include a combination of synchronous sessions, small-group discussions, and personal growth assignments. By the end of the three-day series, participants will be able to create their Individualized Professional Development Plan, taking inventory of the new tools gained. Registration closes on November 18, 2021.
