Stop by to chat with W&M alumnus Jen Garrott. Currently an Associate Producer with American History TV for CSPAN, she will be available to talk with students on a first-come, first-served basis between the hours of 10:30 AM-12 PM and 1-3 PM. This is a great opportunity to network and solicit her advice regarding resumes, career options in film and TV, and ways to break-in to the production industry. All majors and class years welcome. Dress code is business casual.

Jen Garrott is completed her BA in History & Film in 2010 and her MA in History in 2011. Currently, she is an Associate Producer with American History TV for CSPAN. In this role, she produces programs for the Lectures in History series and she produces, shoots, and edits pieces for the American Artifacts series. Previously, for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation (CWF) she produced and edited numerous long and short format films. These included CWF’s Emmy award winning Electronic Field Trips, vodcasts, and documentaries. Jen continues to work on independent video projects and is often responsible for developing ideas from storyboard to filming and through post-production, often on a tight deadline and budget.
