Come Meet Up with Ryan Gayman, the Coordinator of Outreach and Admissions for Humanity in Action. Ryan wants to talk to students who want to change the world, so if this sounds like you, RSVP now! Space is limited!

Ryan is the Founder/Executive Director of CitizenCity, based in Pittsburgh, PA, CitizenCity forges collaborative space and common ground for people committed to making a social impact through redefining the relationship between neighborhood, workplace and university where social and economic capital mutually benefit all people.

Previously, Ryan was a Humanity in Action Senior Fellow, having participated in the 2012 French Humanity in Action program. As a 2014 Lantos-Humanity in Action Congressional Fellow her served as the health care policy advisor for U.S. Rep. Karen Bass. Prior to working in Congress, Ryan founded and directed the Office of Academic Community Engagement in the University of Pittsburgh's Honors College. Ryan also spent a year working as Humanity in Action's Coordinator of Outreach and Admissions.

Originally from rural Pennsylvania, Ryan attended the University of Pittsburgh where he studied Anthropology and Urban Studies, with a particular focus on community imagination and identity formation in American urban spaces.
