With Director Jay Gaidmore as your guide, learn about the treasures within Special Collections in Swem Library and how you might be able to use them in your ongoing/future research! The library contains University Archives, original manuscripts, photographs, rare books, maps, audiovisual media, and much more. A few highlights include the William & Mary Hip Hop Collection, books handmade by Cuban artisans, oral histories of some of the first woman and African American students at W&M, and the second-largest collection of books about dogs in the United States.
