As the title and global pandemic suggests, this lecture will focus on viruses, what they are, how they function and their interactions with humans. We'll address some of the good things viruses are being harnessed to do in medicine, some of the commonplace things they do to us that are not so good and some of the extremely dangerous (even deadly) things they do to us.
