Probiotics are becoming common place in agriculture, aquaculture and medicine. This talk will explore a group of microbes with known positive effects on terrestrial plants used in agriculture and the discovery that they are also associated with aquatic environments. The benefits and potential uses of these bacteria in agriculture and aquaculture will be discussed.
