First Generation Student Engagement

Join us for First-Gen Fridays, a dedicated space for first-generation students to connect, unwind, and thrive! Whether you have a busy schedule or just need a break, this is your space to make what you want of it. Come and go as you please, and enjoy the supportive community of fellow first-gen students.

Here's what you can expect:

Open Space: Use the time to study, play card games, or just relax with friends.

Snacks: Light snacks will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Themes & Activities: Some weeks will feature special themes or presentations by campus partners, but feel free to come even when there isn't a planned program.

Community: Meet other first-gen peers, interact with members of the LIFT student organization, and build lasting connections.

Bring your homework, grab food from the dining hall, or simply hang out. We look forward to seeing you there!
