Come decorate a calavera mask to gift to a friend! When celebrating Dia de Los Muertos, it is customary to put a calavera, or sugar skull, on an altar, or ofrenda, to celebrate the life of a loved one who is no longer living. Calaveras are also given to friends, family, and close colleagues as a gift. They are often personalized with the name of the person you wish to give the gift to written on the forehead of the skull. This tradition of gifting a skull to family and friends is a thoughtful gesture and represents the vitality of life.
